dc.description.abstractO trabalho descreve a criação e evolução do evento cultural Sarrau, idealizado por estudantes do Instituto Federal de Brasília (IFB) durante a semana acadêmica "Tá Chovendo Eventos", em 2019. O Sarrau surgiu com o objetivo de fomentar a cultura do Funk, combater sua criminalização e valorizar a comunidade LGBTQI+. Em 2020, o evento teve sua segunda edição com o tema "Pretos têm Voz", abordando questões raciais e o turismo de favela, sendo realizado online devido à pandemia. Diante da boa receptividade, foi proposta uma terceira edição presencial em 2021, com foco ampliado para a cultura do reggaeton e formato de festival, incluindo DJs e artistas nacionais. O Sarrau se caracteriza como um evento voltado à juventude periférica de Brasília, com uma proposta inclusiva e artística, promovendo discussões sociais por meio da cultura.
dc.description.abstractenThis paper describes the creation and evolution of the cultural event Sarrau, which was conceived by students from the Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB) during the “Tá Chovendo Eventos” academic week in 2019. Sarrau was created with the aim of fostering Funk culture, combating its criminalization and valuing the LGBTQI+ community. In 2020, the event had its second edition with the theme “Black people have a voice”, addressing racial issues and favela tourism, being held online due to the pandemic. Given the good reception, a third face-to-face edition was proposed in 2021, with an expanded focus on reggaeton culture and a festival format, including DJs and national artists. Sarrau is characterized as an event aimed at Brasília's peripheral youth, with an inclusive and artistic proposal, promoting social discussions through culture.
